Get-PingStatus

When I wrote my Get-PingStatus function back in 2009 I did it because I needed a way to see if a network resource
was up or not.

And when Test-Connection came I could use that cmdlet instead.

Now when PowerShell Core 6.0  is released Test-Connection is gone.

So once again I will use my function 🙂

I took 2 minutes to update it today.

Instead of Get-WMIObject I use Get-CimInstance.

The function can be downloaded from my PowerShell Github Repository
