Fredrik Wall working with windows clients, sccm, Scripting and application packaging at Stockholms Läns Sjukvårdsområde, He is also one of the founders and leaders of PowerShell User Group Sweden.

He has been working in the IT business since 1997 and today Fredrik focus on automation with PowerShell, VBScript and Deployment (MDT and SCCM) as well as application packaging using Adminstudio. The last couple of years he has worked in Windows 7 migration Projects as a Scripting, Windows and Deployment expert.

  1. Hi Fredrik – great post. I’m putting together a GUI for simply allocating proxy addresses to user objects. Although the properties entered into my text boxes are being appended to the user object, the leading string is coming out as ‘SMTP:(System.Windows.Forms.TextBox, Text:’ – how can I remove this prefix?

    My PS for this is:
    Set-ADUser $usernametxt.Text -Add @{ProxyAddresses=””}

    The resulting output for the proxyattribute is:
    smtp:(System.Windows.Forms.TextBox, Text: upn.Text)
